I listen to many Cubs games and he just makes excuse after excuse and just some of the comments he makes. I will agree he was a great player

He is not a good color man at all. I don't mind home announcers getting emotional, but when something goes wrong, he is out of hand.

Pat Hughes is the best in the business in my opinion.

Wouldn't Hughes and Steve Stone be great together?

Sorry, I've never seen that in him either.
I don't listen to Cub radio broadcasts and i still don't believe that he'd be a "cry baby".
Why do you say this??

Ah, ok. Thanks for explaining that. Sometimes it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Maybe he's being honest in an excuse making way. I dunno. He's a heck of a competitor and maybe says things out of frustration.

I dont think Ron himself is a winer but the Cubs franchise THINKS he should be in the hall of fame. Personally i dont think he does, but thats my thoughts. I think Dave Concepcion of the reds does need to be in before Ron Santo does...

Ron Santo is not a crier and never has been.
