Do you realize that every Communist government that has EVER existed has had a life of on average, less than 40 years (except for the Aztecs) and has almost always ended in revolt?

This is because Communism's #1 flaw in that it assumes all people desire to be equal and by good faith alone, will hold everything in a common ownership.

Humans by nature are selfish, and rightfully so. Example: In society, you have to have trash collectors, and you have to have doctors. Under a true Communist system, the Doctor cannot be paid more than the trash collector, and both are only entitled to and equal share of resources.

Now, is it fair that the Doctor had to spend 10 years in school; studying, toiling, worrying about grades, working hard to become profficient in a highly technically involved skill and must be on call on the weekends and holidays: but still is by law entitled to NO MORE than the man who did not attend school past 10th grade, who does not have to work holidays and weekends, who did not have to read and practice and be graded on being profficient at any skill?

What incentive then, would there be to put forth the effort to become a doctor, when you have the option to not even complete High School and get paid the same salary, benefits, etc?

The truth is, without reward or incentive the idealistic good faith or moral responsibility alone will never provide for achievement and success required to maintain any society.

This is why Communism DOES NOT AND NEVER WILL WORK.

It is not illegal to be a communist in the United States. There is in fact an American Socialist Party that usaually has a condidate for president. Many Communists live and work legally in the U.S. thoug their Communism is more a matter of their native birth, as in China or Russia than any real political leanings. It is not wrong to be a Communist in America, but it will not win yoy many popularity contests either.

It hasn't worked in Cuba? Are you crazy? The economic problems faced by Cuba are created by the American blockade on trade. In the meantime Cuba has an incredible health and education system - far superior to that of the USA.

Look at life in Batista Cuba and compare it with life in Castro Cuba. It's great deal better now - and the people would support Fidel all the way.

Don't believe everything you read in the USA. It is the 'great indoctrinator' which brainwashes its people as a daily process. Beware.

That is wrong everywhere. More people have been killed in the name of communism then by any fascists or national-socialists. Yet, somehow it's still considered "OK" to be a communist.

But your Stalin question indicates you're not a communist, but a Stalinist.

Edit: Er uh, I just found your Hitler question so you might be a Fascist.

You might want to study the differences. It seems like you're still trying to understand political economy and the world. If you are still young, it's too soon to declare yourself anything in particular. If you're older, you should look into going back to school.

This can help you see where you stand in the political spectrum:

If you're just a troll....well, community guidelines prohibit me from saying what I want to say.

That's what I call freedom! Try in Russia or Cuba, or any of the communist countries saying that you are a democrat. You can kiss your freedom goodbye

No more wrong than any other political affiliation. If it is true that you are a communist I certainly would not support, or share your beliefs, but I will defend your right to hold and express them freely.

No, you have the right to be whatever you want. However, don't try practicing your communist agenda in our government. That wouldn't go over so well.

Hell, be what you want. But being a communist in America is like being a snowball in hell. The sooner your realize that, the sooner your life will start having some purpose.
