I'm searching for all the posts , Q and A , where democrats on this site admit that republicans on this site were right about the dem candidates . The ones that acknowledge that we were right when we told you that your top-tier candidates never had any intention on withdrawing the troops from Iraq prematurely .
The ones that admit we were right when we told you that the dem candidates knew they didn't have an over-riding majority and therefore knew darn well that their little non-binding resolutions would accomplish nothing . . .. . nothing but hatred and division .
The ones honest enough to admit they were fooled .
We don't want to gloat , but honest acknowledgment would be a nice change of pace .
We don't want the Democratic Party to 'go away' , but ya just gotta get rid of the strangle-hold that the far left has on your party .
If you can't find any links to what I have requested , whaddya say we start right here and right now ?

Steve - I see you decided to ignore the part about how the dems knew full well that they did not have an over-riding majority and therefore knew full-well that they couldn't do as they claimed . . . . and they knew it ahead of time !!

Good luck with that. You could present them with direct quotes from themselves and what you will get in return is a strategy of "justify and deny". In fact it has already begun. Just look at the answers in the last few days where the new strategy has been, "well it's Bush' mess and it will take time to clean up". This after months of "the troops will be out as soon as a Democrat is in office". One of the major differences between Conservatives and Liberals is consistency. Conservatives do not change their message much as a general rule. Liberals on the other hand change theirs to suit whatever the latest poll numbers, or talking points indicate. If I were a Democrat I would find it appalling that these are the type of people who represent the face of the modern Democratic Party.

I agree - the Democrats have pretty much taken Iraq off the table as a campaign issue, unless the MoveOn crowd splits and backs a third-party "withdraw now" candidate.
So what was the last several years about? I've heard of "cheerleading," but the Democrats seem to have been doing just the opposite. Maybe someone can come up with a snappy term for their actions - "gloomleading" is all I can think of. it made the troops' job tougher, and in my opinion got more of them killed. Our enemies know that they were trumpeting the body count, and so they obliged by increasing it. If we'd been united we might have been out by now - the terrorists know they can only beat us when we are divided.
I'm glad the leading Dems are not being quite as irresponsible as I thought they would be, but it's clear that they have no business even claiming they have any ability to address America's current security threats. Rather than being dangerous pacifists, they are unprincipled political hacks. Which is worse? It's hard to say.
PS As for the votes needed for withdrawal, the Democrats have what they need RIGHT NOW. Permit me to "recycle" my previous answer from earlier in the week:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoeqD4zbvYXGIYxZgmi.4sfty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070926103731AAESd8N&show=7#profile-info-AA11663288
PPS I have to say again, that the Democrats have the votes to cut off funds now. They would risk not funding any military operations, perhaps - the president probably would not sign a bill without Iraq funding - but that's a political contest of wills. Congress can de-fund the war by simply not scheduling Iraq funding for a vote. Pelosi and the Democrats control the agenda!
So, control of the Congress (both houses) and the White House will not be enough for them to withdraw. Good! I didn't think we should.
But one could also see this as a ploy - "we don't have enough votes to do it yet, so give us more." Maybe, maybe not.
But it puts the Democrats in a bad light. Do they think the American public wants immediate withdrawal, or not? And what is THEIR policy?

Most of my new information is from the net and i don't trust Obama I believe he will be bad for America and i see from other answers someone does not like the First (*******99) he has "rant"ed on nearly every question where he does not like the answer and he is good at hate mail.. when you talk about facts i was in Berlin when the boarder was closed on the 12 august 1961 i was called a Liar well i saw the east germans unloading trucks of Barbed wire on the 12 i also saw the british forming up tanks in the British sector under the cover of darkness and called a liar At 2 a.m. on Aug. 13, 1961, a low, barbed-wire barrier was strung between East and West Berlin. It effectively divided the city in half. Within days, workers cemented concrete blocks into a low wall through the city. so like you i am offended because i do Research before answering or because I was there i often wounder if some of these negative people are really old enough to be part of Yahoo questions it is 13 or over .. and i will certainly be looking forward to more of your Intelligent accurate Questions

I'm not sure from whose side you're comming from. Democrats said that they would seek change in the white house, so far they've done a pretty bang-up job for their party. Oh and by the way, if they knew ahead of time that they wouldn't be able to accomplish anything, why did they promise to accomplish something in the first place? That was their fault, now they have to take the blame, and an approval rating of 11% for their Senate majority.

Ernest, Son,
I really do hate to be the bearer of bad news !!! BUT Son, for ANY LIBERAL DEMOCRAT ( or moderate, or conservative, and YES THERE ARE A FEW 'GOOD' DEMOCRATS still around), to admit THEY have made a mistake, indicates that you have been on a two month drunk, and are having deliriums !!! The facts are :: THEY JUST AIN'T GOING TO DO THAT !!!!!!!!
You have got to get over your Dream Woman mentioning that the Lefty's HAD a (one) good idea !!!!!

Sorry, no. They will not admit to anything. and to the guy who posted that conservatives have a strangle hold and that republicans want control; just hold up and wait a minute.
1. We don't want big government controlling our lives. You are
the ones who constantly want big government.
2. Strangle holds are for the Democrats who want to hold us
up for OUR money by increasing taxes so we have to work
harder to pay for their health care.
3. Deny and blame others for the problems, like our
Democrat Governor (Michigan) who continues to blame
the last governor, a Republican, for the problems she
created in the last 5 years!
4. The Democratic candidates only blame and so far I see no
plans, except to make government bigger! Goodbye
freedom, hello to George Orwell's 1984!!

Bwahahaha....Earnest...the Dems are not building hate and division...they are trying to do the will of the American people. They are unable to change the course of the war because of obstructionist Republicans...PLEASE continue to believe that you guys have the support of the American people....you will be in for a rude awakening come 2008. I'm glad you don't want us to go away, because come 2008, we will have control of the presidency and have a bigger majority in Congress, unless something major changes between now and then.

It doesn't matter Earnest because even if you include links, their typed out responses, etc., they'll just deny it and act all loose and juicy over you (presumably) making it all up.
Their track record is juicer than the Hersey Squirts on a 3-month supply of Exlax.
