Yes many times. As a kid we played in a nearby creek and the rocks and glass were dangerous so we always wore shoes there.

Yes all the time, here where i live there are only rivers, and there full of rocks, so I use shoes to get in, the i take em off once im swiming in the water.

Sure...sometimes when we're fishing, I'll wear an old pair of tenny shoes in the water...to cool off or catch crawdads.*

yeah you know those water shoes that were real popular about 3-4 years ago, it felt weird, i'd rather be bare foot

Yeah! Me and my friend swam in the pool with our flip flops on but the lifeguard made us take them off. Grr.
