Notice the headline of the above article: 'Jenna Bush Ducks Iraq, Talks Engagement'. I don't see how she's 'ducking' Iraq. I don't remember her being on the ballot in 2004, so why should she have to answer for her fathers' policies?

And surprisingly, she also says that she understands those people who say that she and her sister should be serving in Iraq. And her answer to that is there are many ways to serve her country. One way, she pointed out, was working at UNICEF.

Basically, Jenna is not her father George, if anyone wants Iraq answers, they should go to someone in his administration. I don't recall anyone asking Chelsea about her dad's BJ, or any other Oval Office activities.

If the liberal media can't get to Bush, the'll stab their steely knives at the closest thing they can get.

You are very right. No one can blame Jenna for the Iraq war. She is not the one who sat in the seat and voted to go ahead w/ it. People are just being ignorant! And you are very right, Chelsea was left out of her fathers controversy. Jenna has her own life and that has nothing to do w/ her father and congress voting to go to war! People just like to make a big deal about nothing these days!

Why doesn't her daddy send her to Iraq so he would have something in common with the families of the soldiers there. He would know what it is to have your beloved relative in danger 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Maybe that would make him think that life is only one and should not be put on a so high risk for NOTHING

You are absolutely right. But she's a Bush family member...in some eyes..that negates any right to be treated with respect...I'll admit, I find that link's headline intellectually insulting. I wish her well.

Absolutely right. Why would they ask her anything about Iraq? She is not a policy maker, she is the policymaker's daughter. Leave her alone unless you're asking what color her wedding dress will be...

Good points all around. I don't recall anyone harassing Chelsea either. Children of presidents should be left alone; they are not their parents and play little to no role in their parent's decisions.

I agree that she shouldn't have to talk politics. Is she suppose to speak for her father? NO!

She should be talking about her engagement and an upcoming wedding. Geeze, she a kid, not a politician!

I have to agree with you on that one. She's not an elected representative. That's just somebody in the media trying to create a controversy where there isn't one. They do it on both sides of the political spectrum.

Her opinions are her own,to express or not.
What kind of nut interviews a bride to be on such a subject anyway, she's only thinking about her wedding, nothing else.

She shouldn't because she is Jenna Bush, not George Bush.

Of course she shouldn't have to answer any questions related to her father's policies. The problem is that the liberal media has 2 sets of rules, one for the dems and one for the cons.
