First thing in the morning is better because theres more hormones..why cant you do it in the morning? Clear blue digital is good, as a matter of fact if your 1 week late most if not all of them would be accurate.

I used the dollar store test with first morning urine and it was accurate. But, being the skeptic I am, I also used a First Response Early Result test later in the day - this test does not "require" first morning urine. It can detect a lower level of hcg than most other tests out there. But like other posters have said, being 1 week late, just about any test is going to give you an accurate result as your hcg levels should be high enough to be detected by them.

After you have officially missed a period, you should be able to take any of the HPT. The first thing in the morning thing is just because of raised levels of HCG. But, if you get a negative, try it again in a few days in the morning.... just to be safe.

one week late should be great for accurate results but i do remember reading on my test that first morning urine is better because if you are pregnant there will be a higher level of horemones in it or something to that effect.. it should explain on whatever test you buy.. good luck

the reason you take it first thing in the morning is your HCG levels are higher. has nothing to do with the pregnancy test. in my opinion it doesnt matter what test you take, if you are prego, it will show up. i bought a double pack from wal mart for $5. they both worked

I wasn't even late when I tested and the result cam back after seconds!!! so I guess after a week the hormones are enough to use any hpt

You can take any one of the home pregnancy tests at any time of day.

you dont have to buy a name brand one. the off brands are just as good and half the price! if you are a week late already, it should give you an accurate reading no matter what time of day!good luck!

all preg test are better at moring, although the more hcg the more u can take it later in the day...but if u want to make sure get a blood test

Any should give an accurate result being a week late.
