thank you for noticing that. i thought it would be too big of a slap in the face to mention it, but i certainly won't infringe on your right to point it out.

Is there anyone more extremist than a Bushbot?
Seriously, waging pre-emptive, un-provoked and unnecessary wars based on lies (and/or rabidly supporting same), bankrupting the country, creating more enemies, chaos and problems (for themselves and their fellow Americans, not to mention the millions of Iraqis who are now either dead or refugees), surrendering their rights and freedoms to mercenaries and war profiteers, cheering surveillance, torture and indefinite detention on a random basis without trial or counsel or right to hear the accusations against oneself (not only applicable to Arabs, but to all Americans, by decree of a self-ordained 'king')
but anyhow, and so...
I don't know the answer to your question..."why?"
Could it be they really don't know they are destroying America? And why won't pointing them to the low value of today's American dollar help them open their eyes? Do they not realize this is a tax on them, and increases their cost of living? How is ANYTHING better for the Bushbots, unless they are directly involved in arms sales and defense contracts?
Or are they getting a cut from the billions in oil going missing in Iraq?

P.S. TO ALL THE BUSHBOTS WHO SAY, "WHERE ARE THE CRIMES? WHERE ARE THE FELONIES? YOU NEED CRIMES AND FELONIES TO IMPEACH"
Here's your crimes, here's your felonies.
Ignoring the laws while you break them, or changing the laws after you break them does not disqualify your law-breaking and crimes, which include war crimes and crimes against humanity, according to established law.

War critics astonished as US hawk admits invasion was illegal
(the 'chickenhawk' in question is Richard Perle, PNAC crazy affectionately known in his circle as "the Dark Prince," a pro-Israeli neocon war monger who pushed like hell for the Iraq invasion, along with his buddies Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney, not because it was justifiable, in the absence of any connection at all to 9/11, but because he thought it was 'doable', it would be a 'cake walk')

(Perle is now living in his house in France, like the true rat he is, having left a sinking ship, blaming failures in Iraq on Bush's handling of it - he encouraged the criminality, just couldn't handle the incompetence; he was a strong force in shaping Bush's foreign policy of 2003, along with the other members of his little 'thinktank,' the PNAC)

Many conservative loyalists tend to cherry-pick stats and evidence that favors their slant while ignoring anything else that could possibly run contrary to their view.
However, it should be noted that impeaching Bush and Cheney this late in the 2nd term is a bit pointless. Also, even if there were sufficient evidence of a crime, there aren't enough votes in the Senate to actually convict. Political bias is a huge factor in determining the outcome, just as it was the last time around (Clinton).

hehe... you think that the usage of hard facts and reason is enough to make sense to these people? You'd have better results getting in to a political debate with a dog. Yes, the numbers are just under 50% to impeach Bush and just over to impeach Cheney. So who are the extremists again? They will have any number of convenient excuses. Obviously the poll was taken by an extremist left wing organization. And so on.

Well, the pussycats in Congress are afraid of making people mad at them--the Dems are afraid of the Reps, they're afraid of the polls, and they're thinking, "What if we screw up the Patriot Act and there's a terrorist attack?"
However, I think the wet Fancy Feast is about to hit the fan.
Read this link, and others on Google, about this week's events.
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/09/27/patriot_act_mayfield/
Reading that, I ask, what if the government loses its appeal?
Then what?
In addition, I think there might be new and even more interesting and revolting revalations about Bush about to dribble into our informational food trays.
Should be interesting.
But keep the impeachment talk going. For more information see:
impeachbush.org
And many other impeachment sites, as well.

Because "they never asked my opinion in that poll" or "all polls are biased by the liberals that run them", etc....
(except when the polls favor their views, then they're gospel)
*What's even funnier is they seem to be under the impression the House needs something more than a simple majority to impeach. Nowhere is "high crimes and misdemeanors" defined, so it's entirely up to the House.

No matter how you look at it impeachment is an extreme measure.
Most people do not know about the meaning of the word impeachment and the constitutional requirements for impeachments.
Just because a group does not agree with you and what you think is good for our country does not mean that they hate America.

Please tell me where in the articles of impeachment says that you first conduct a poll?
Next you have to have crimes to be committed by the president not you don't like him doesn't count.
I know right now Bush is not popular but that is not grounds for impeachment.
As for as those who want it I would say if Pelosi can't come up with the charges it isn't going to happen.
I suggest those people read more about the government.

Conservatives refuse to acknowledge when they are wrong and when they have f'ed up..... like spoiled, obnoxious kids badly in need of a trip to the woodshed, they whine that their wrongdoings are always someone else's fault.
