He's doing TV shows because promoters and wrestlers alike do not like the guy. He's hurt several people because he can't wrestle. He ended Brett Hart's career with a botched kick. Someone who botches something as easy as a kick has no business being in the ring. He refused to jobb to anyone and thought the whole wrestling world revolved around him. Basically the guy was a jerk. He won't go to Japan because NJPW doesn't want him, nobody does. He was all hype and no skill.

He retired from wrestling and is doing the classic auto auctions that you can see on SPEED almost any time of the night. He was in talks with TNA until he bashed then in an interview, said something like he might go to Japan to wrestle a few matches.

Goldberg is a fellow UGA alumnus.
He is mainly pursuing acting endeavors.
He may possibly make more wrestling appearances. But it seems that he has been frustrasted with WWE and TNA for various reasons.

He was definitely a headliner, I'm not too sure on his actual wrestling ability though.
There were talks of him appearing in TNA, but he doesn't really agree with their creative direction over there. I don't believe he would be returning to the ring any time soon.

His "unbeatable " gimmick could only be played so long. Then he got the boot because nobody wanted to work matches with him because he would actually try hurting people for real he ended Bret Hart's career. Now he wants way too much money

As it turned out, he was all hype and couldn't really wrestle. So he went on to do movies like "Santa's Slay".
