I live in Northern California where the winter temperatures drop to 30-35 degrees. Do I need to remove my goldfish that are living in a 200 gallon, moving water, pond?

if your pond is 24 inches or more deep then you don't have to remove the fish. however if you have leaf debris in the pond you should remove this because it steals the oxygen from the water. here's a link that gives you great info on how to winterize your fish ponds

If the pond is deep enough for the fish to have unfrozen water all winter they should be OK. To determine if your pond is deep enough, find out the depth of soil that is considered to be below the frost line(that would be the safe bury depth for water lines). This applies to ponds that are actually in the ground,if it's an above ground thing, then all bets are off.
If you wish to use a small pond heater there would be no problem with either kind.
To the answerer's that said those temps were too cold for these fish, were do you think these guys live in the wild? They are, after all, carp.

No they will go to the bottom and freeze with the pond. My mother lives in Ohio and she has a pond with Koi and they stay there through the whole winter ( in the frozen pond)
