Bath tub sliding door closure?

Question

Had to remove the sliding doors to make room for a bathing seat. When I removed the frame that held the doors in place under the bottom part on the tub itself is a glue or caulking that is IMPOSSIBLE to remove. Any suggestions. I bought white duct tape to cover it in the mean time. Thanks

its a water proof adhesive, try useing ice to freeze it, then peel it off, or a hair dryer set on high heat to soften it then use a putty knife to scrape it off,
