Yes, mainly salt and vinegar as Robert said for chips when you don't get enough.
I was searched at the airport last week and the woman emptied my handbag, there was about 30 packets of salt and pepper along with sachets of tomato sauce, mustard, sugar, jam, tartare sauce and salad cream.
It really embarrassed my husband he thinks I am a tight sod to keep nicking them.

I don't go out of my way to, but they only put a tiny amount in each sachet, so I pick up an handful and whatever I don't use in the end goes into my handbag.

Yes I do. This has always embarrassed my daughter. Even if we are at drive through I will ask for extra packets of sauce. You never know when you might need an extra ranch for those chicken nuggets. heck when I run out of salt and pepper at home. I throw away the shakers and go out to eat and take the ones off the table. I am not talking spendy places here. A good place to stalk up on those things is at a connivance store. You go back and get a sandwich and help your self to all kinds off packets of good things. Another good thing to load up on is coffee creamers. This connivance store in town has every flavor off coffee creamer. The liquid that does not need refrigeration. So when I get a cup of coffee I make I have my purse so I can stalk up on extra creamers for at home or places that do not have the flavored ones like drive through restaurants. If I am out of napkins at home. I will put some in my purse. Here is a good one. If I am out eating and realize I am about out of toilet paper and I do not plan on going to the store for a day or so. If see a role sitting behind the toilet in a public restroom that is still wrapped I will take it home. Straws from a fast food place is another thing to stock up on. Heck if I am going to a buffet like a chinese one. I put a plastic bread bag in my purse so I can get some chicken wings, wantons and egg roles for later. The way I see it is. My daughter does not eat a whole lot. So they are making money off her. So I call it taken what she does not eat home. A chicken buffet is another good place. You take chicken home in your purse. Make sure you have a plastic bag and a big purse though.

A good tip, when you are going abroad and I go to Goa every year where things like tar tar sauce brown sauce ketchup and the like you can never get that taste the same, so then I grab them and they don't take up any room in your suitcase.

Not the sauce ones but the little sugar ones, sometimes even salt. Great for when you buy chips and you dont get enough on it. Good to know im not the only one.
