Do you believe Sylvia Brown is a real psychic?

I'd never heard of her before so I put her name into YouTube and I think she's a toal fake and loony!!

I agree with you- she's a fake. If you ever watch her on those talk shows- mostly Montell Williams (is he even still on?)- she gives the guests open ended questions so they actually do all the talking and she just elaborates and makes them think that she came up with it all on her own. FRAUD!!
I think there are "real" psychics out there- the one's that help find missing people- but she is definitely NOT one! I think there are more "Mediums" than "Psychics". They (M) speak to the dead, not read the future.

Opinions are like a**-holes. every body has one and they all usually stink. LOL! So here is MY opinion.

I believe that early in her life she was probably a gifted psychic who took the time and effort to develop her gifts. however, I think that--as with many psychics--as her popularity grew, so did the presure to perform. As a result, in times when she did not get a clear reading or only partial information, she attempted to "fill in the gaps" so to speak because of the presure to perform. This has lead to her loss of credibility.

John Edwards is good. I believe he DOES communicate with the dead, but again--he is under presure to perform. The universe does not work like that. We each have gifts, which we are responible to develop and utilize. But I believe that they are for specific times and purposes. NOT for personal gain and popularity. They are tools for us to help other people in the journey we call life. They are NOT meant to be a means to make a living.

Does that mean that psychics should not be paid for their visions? No, not at all. however, the danger comes when it is their sole source of income and they build a public name for themselves.

I am a witch. I cast spells and curses. I have cast spells for other people who were in need. I did not charge them for this service, but that does not mean that I would be unwilling to charge for it in the future--depending on the situation. Would I let it be my sole source of income? Never.

When we have gifts, and all of us do, this issue should not be "How can I make money and get rich off of this?" The real question should be, "How can I use my gifts to help others?" And if the chance to help myself arrises out of this oportunity, then I can feel free to take the money or gift. But I must stay in tune with with universe to know when it is ok.

no one has abilities claimed by psychics. The people who claim to be psychics are all frauds. I have read some about Sylvia, and my dumb sister watches her on Montel's TV show. She is ridiculous. Anyone who believes her is dumb, especially Sis.

We are all born with Psychic senses everyone you talk too Yes even YOU, has one or more psychic sense some people choose to enhance them others just ignore them others may just shut them down. They still use them however they don't know they are : )

When I want a good laugh I try to catch her on Montel, she is usually on there on I think it is Wednesday, she is such a fake it is funny, once she told a lady who thought her son was her dad reincarnated because he died while her son was being born that her dad was still in the check in place and couldn't have made it back to earth yet, hilarious, who would believe such a thing?

I think she is highly intune to others and can sense what they want to hear. She is also a quick thinker and a good story teller.
I don't think anyone is truely psychic all the time about everything.

I wish someone would slap her upside the head and wish Montel would quit airing her.
I mean, i dislike Montel too so i don't watch his shows, but when ever i see her, i cringe.

This is sort of mean, but she looks like an old gypsie with Goiters disease, who used to smoke like a chimney. Trailer trash until she got rich off the Montel show. That's my personal psychic reading of her.
