my friend started dating this girl last semester, and then completely cut off all of his friends, and then they broke up and he came up to me and apologized and swore he'd never do it again.
and then he met one of my friends, and they are starting to like each other, but since she just came out of a really long relationship, she isnt ready to start anything yet. he is crazy obsessed with her, and is starting to ignore me again. he used to IM me all the time, text me, call me and ask to meet up at school.. and now ill run into him and he'll be like "im too busy"
and now with IMs its one word answers..
how do i tell him that he is doing what he swore he wouldnt do again!? i dont want to get him mad at me.. but god damn it he's pissing me off!
help

Just tell him gently, and maybe with a bit of humor, that he is doing it again. Then leave it at that.

He's your friend, and women will come and go in his life until he settles on "the one". I have been through all of this with my friends, both male and female. It takes a while, and I have learned that my job is to simply be patient, and wait, and that they will come back to me. My job is simply to support them and be their friend when they have time for me again.

It is annoying, there's no getting around that. But in the end, they, meaning friends, always come back to those they really, truly love.

Leave him alone, if he truly cares about you, then he will persue you!!

If you aren't "cool" enough to be around when he has a love interest... just think about it... he is using you as a "stand-in" (even if you aren't making out.. etc... he is using your time and energy)

Tell him to get lost... because he doesn't have time for you!!

text it to him. tell him she isn't THAT into him...and if he keeps this stuff up, he is going to loose the ones that are into him...including you. boys are silly that way!
