I don't know what the actual statistics are, but the 'numbers' aren't important, anyway. It's the individual case that's important. I can tell you however, that with today's technologies, many many more premature babies survive than they used to. I have a grandson who was born 2 pounds, 1 ounce. He was so tiny, it was heart wrenching. He is now 9 years old. Healthy, happy and very active, just like a little boy should be. I am keeping SCM in my thoughts, and in my prayers.
