First of all, love is a choice. It is a choice to value someone's worth equal to or above your own worth. It is a choice to honor someone and respect them and submit to their ways or decisions. Love is an intimate relationship.

Love is NOT chemistry, attraction, or an emotion. Love envokes chemistry, attraction, and emotion, but do not mistake any of these for true love.
Love is NOT physical.
Love is NOT an animal instinct. Sex is an animal instinct, but sex is NOT love. You can have sex without intimacy, but you cannot have love without intimacy.
Love is NOT jealous, proud, or rude.
Love is NOT self-seeking or easily angered.

Love is spiritual in nature. Unless you are spiritually alive, you will probably never know true love.

Love is deeper than any other force on earth.
Love conquers all and defends all.
Love is kind.
Love is patient.
Love always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
Love forgives and keeps no record of wrongs.

Love never fails.

In the beginning love is this grand unexplainable feeling but after a while it settles into just caring about someone else. Being interested in what they have to say and what they think, wanting to know how they feel and what's happened in their day. It's taking their opinions, concerns and feelings into consideration when making decisions.

It just is. Sorry easy answer...

I would assume it is different for each person that has felt it, the excuse that it is the same response as eating a bunch of chocolate is a load of BS to me. Chemically it may be, but we are more than a bunch of chemical responses.

Anyway to me, it is that feeling that makes any place home when you are with 'that' someone. You can be yourself and they are happy about it, instead of the show you have to put on when out or dating. You just feel better because they are around, or you know they will be around soon. And the thought of them never being there agian is one fo the scariest things you can imagine.

It is a feeling that makes you believe in the unimaginable and feel that you want to do the impossible just to see them smile.

love is when u look into his or her eyes and what u see in them warms up ur heart, makes ur body shiver, and ur throat dry and thin from the unnamed feeling and while ur eyes r connected the only thing that exists for u is those beautiful eyes full of love which is all urs and which is only for u

Give all of yourself, all of you but explaining to someone how to love is like trying to explain how to breath..its almost involuntary although there are ways to express you love to some one trying to show them how to do is a difficult if not impossible task.

This is for me true love : The need to make THAT person happy. And I never understood the " pride " thing. I am what I am, that's all.

I think love is when another person's happiness becomes more important than your own.
Love is being vunerable, but trusting another person not to hurt you.
