The sink doesn't splash, but the taps do. Just turn the water pressure down a bit on your main stop tap.

hummm! your sink stainless steel or otherwise is not splashing but rather the water from your faucet... check it you might have to replace/adjust the gasket and it should stop dripping and splashing onto you sink.
or just dry with a paper towel or rag after use
