I can think of something even worse:
Blowing your snot onto the ground, in full view of the public, without using a piece of tissue paper (pressing one nostril and blowing all the snot out of the other!)

Yes i agree ,spitting in the street is, a most disgusting habit indeed.

It's a vile habit. What amazes me is if you drop a sweet paper, cigarette end etc, some jobsworth will pop up and do you. It seems though that spreading germs in a disgusting way is fine.

It's pretty gross! Because you will step in spit and walk around with it on your shoes. And when you get into the car you with have spit in the car!
Who knows what has been in peoples mouthes???

YES! It is my number 1 pet peeve! It's totally unsanitary and vile and disgusting and just plain rude and crude and vulgar! Did I say it was my number 1 pet peeve? for all those previous reasons??? {laughing!} (but yikes! how repulsive!)

that & when someone spits out a car window in the front seat & it blows back in your face when you are in the backseat.

I find it pretty normal.
My brother in law spits out his window when his driving and it just hits the window in the back..I find it hilarious. Now you just see streaks of dry spit on the window..Sometimes when i'm not feeling well i try not to gag..but i laugh..lol.
Anywho..I find it normal.
