I guess wives feel insecure as the marriage progresses because lets face it women who age sometimes do not do so gracefully...they gain weight, they get wrinkles, etc...as some people say...women are like cars, they depreciate with age, while men are like wine...they get better with age (personally i dont agree to this as most people)...and there will always be younger and more beautiful women out there and some men have the tendency to give in to temptation...some older men would like to see if they still have what it takes to attract younger women...and of course some men are not that interested in sex with their wives when they've been together for a long time...it is due to these reasons why women feel insecure in their marriage and in themselves...wives should take extra effort to keep themselves fit and looking beautiful (despite the age) to keep their husbands interested in them...and it is up to the husbands to appreciate the efforts of the wives as these wives are doing these things (making themselves look good) for their husbands...its a great way to preserve the marriage

I don't think you statement is completely true. I never ever suspected my husband or felt insecure or ever tried to control him. I still don't wish to 'control' him. But we had great sex, great communication, laughed all the time and he still cheated. So, I didn't feel insecure or suspicious until he gave me a reason to feel this way. I always felt that if a man was going to cheat, he will do it no matter what, so why worry about it all the time. Guess I should have worried about it, huh? Sorry, but I've been a faithful, loving, caring, playful partner and he still had to go cheat on me. How about, what is it that you guys really want from us? I surely didn't hold a gun to his head to marry me; he was the one who pursued me for 6.5 years. All I can say, is I've done my best - he had all the freedom in the world and never came home to a nagging, doubtful, questioning woman - so what's the use; you treat us the same either way we act.

It all comes down to trust. Wives just don't automatically become insecure, there usually is a reason for it. Past experiences, unusual behavior, secrecy, etc. play a part in this behavior and this applies to men too. If there is trust and love between two people there is no need for cheating. In these times, the values of marriage is a lost art. They are taken so lightly it is common place to have extra-marital affairs and with that comes the insecurities.

What are you doing that would have your wife suspect anything. If there is absolute trust in a marriage, questions and suspicions would be unnessasary. Sometimes you gotta think, What has happened in their relationship in the past. What is the husband doing or what has he done? Women aren't insecure on their own. You men contribute to it.

its the way they are acting and actually its not suspect they proably know by then by what hes saying and doing. its sure common place for me to messa round and why i am not sure but alot of them do. its always for the women you can't cause you are woman and men can do it to anyone and its leveled as ok. its very sad but that is how this society has come around. no woman is insecure. they just know and feel it and when one does there is nothing to do but pack up and leave or throw the bum out. no controlling it just hey why can they stand true but alot of them arent'.

Make up your mind! First you ask a question about the 95% guys who cheat on their unsuspecting poor wives, and then you ask this?
First of all, you need to get yourself some new friends. Secondly you need to stop obsessing over other people's marriages and thirdly maybe you should take a holiday and go visit your parents.

Most people who suspect others are insecure , this applies to women too. Insecure people make life miserable for themselves and others.

May be it is the other way around The Husbands dont satisfy their wives. what whould the women do in that case.

its the feeling of jealousy and insecurity... blame the woman and man also have the responsibility to not make any reason for the spouse to suspect him of be jealous of anything. give her always you undivided attention and show her your undying love all the time. don't ever give her a reason to be jealous or suspicious!!
