Whoa! Rewster, I was just going to throw the kitchen sink at you...then I read 'at the restaurant!' Well I have not had it at any restaurant, however, I have had it at my B/F's home...his mom is a specialist in sea food! I can't deny it was yummy, but not something I would like to have very often!!!

Had crab sticks when I was younger but have found out in later life they have never seen a crab let alone used to be one. Also had crab paste sandwiches.

I assume you mean the marine type.
I've had lobster on quite a few occasions in France and England and for special treats/special visitors, we used to buy crab claws to serve with mustard mayonnaise at home.

I have had dressed crab out of the shell not bad at all but an acquired taste........for a moment there thought you were on about the pubes variety you cannot eat them ha ha
