What is happening in our society today where values of respect and caring no longer the norm of the day? Just read the daily papers about children's nightmare.

With all of the new technology busy schedules and hard times financially, there is little time to be spent with the children. For some reason, the children seem to always be put last. Tempers are shorter and children are growing up way too fast by learning from other children instead of parents. Parents are too busy to stop to teach their kids morals and respect. However, I am not one of those. My two children are very respectful and polite. They are being taught on a daily basis, which is what it takes.

Sad part is that this has always been, just now with modern technology we are more likely to hear of it. Abuse is a horrible cycle and you can bet that in alot of todays abuse cases, the abuser was also abused and one of thier parents abused, and so on and so forth.

I think it's more talked about and reported nowadays....it's always happened and it's so bloody wrong.
