This wish list on Newegg has been ever changing. But I think I have finally compiled the list of components I want. Take a look and tell me what you think. Am I splurging too much on one part and not enough on another? Any known issues on any of them? Any recommendations or opinions are appreciated.

I will be playing World of Warcraft mostly. Probably try out Warhammer Online when it releases. Maybe Lord of the Rings Online. So mostly MMORPGs, and most of them don't require top of the line high end comps. So I'm guessing I'll have more than I'll need for a while.
However I am concerned about the comment made about DVDs and audio skipping. Is that only for pre-packaged store-bought DVD discs and CDs? Or is that also the case with downloaded files that I'll play on Windows Media?

Oh come on, you are making us envious with that gamer's delight. It definitely more than meets your needs. It is complete, wow factor included. But you might want some front panel bling-bling like this one:

Wow - that should run the latest games, all right.

Now on Vista vs. XP: if you have older games that you still want to run, or old hardware peripherals (that don't have Vista drivers) you may want to get XP while you still can. Even some of the newer games occasionally have issues with Vista. However, if you only want the newest games and only plan to use the hardware that you are ordering with the computer, then Vista should be just fine. For games released within the past year, check the manual for system requirements (see if Vista is mentioned) and the manufacturer's site for possible compatibility updates. Likewise for all hardware that you already own that you plan to use with the computer (like printers).

9.5 out of 10

That's all good stuff. Not cheap, but a lot of value.
Just that i would recommend window's live one care, instead.

P.S. Good move with vista, what's the point of an 8800 if you don't have DX10!! You really can see the diffence in DX10 :)

Yep, that other guy is right !
Vista may be new, but Vista sucks when you play DVD movies/ makes them skip, and messes up your audio when playing music and or Videos. !!!
