Africia sound really exotic. Even if it's just Africa, pray for the puppie. It's a long, long journey.
Any info on paperwork should be found here :

LATE ENTRY : could the person giving me the negative provide a better answer? Or is he/she busy stuffing her mouth with sugary Cheerios?? Dearie, I was just trying to help :)

If this in ANY way involves MONEY, you better tuck your tail and RUN far away from this deal! This sounds exactly like one of those African scams to screw people in other countries out of hundreds and thousands of dollars. Do not get involved OR ask your local law enforcement agency to please review whatever contact this person has made with you and let you know if this is a scam. Even if there are pictures of this 'hapless animal' do NOT buy into this!

There is a scam based on this tale- you send money, they DON'T send pup. So the only paperwork needed is the fraud form at the police station.

SCAM SCAM SCAM NEVER send $ overseas for a pet, even if they send you picts. of it! Google 'Cameroon scam'- this 'business' defrauds people out of millions a year.

Don't buy into the excuses 'We're missionaries' 'we're in school' 'we're in Africa for a dog show, will be here for months' BOGUS

Canadian airlines no longer accept animals. It would have to be an airline out of the country. Airlines such as Air Canada no longer fly them even short distances as so many have died.

The import info you need is here: http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/anima/heasan/import/dogse.shtml

i done that b4 but from USA to AUSTRALIA
its very expensive and u need to get permission from the consil in your area and the other area in africa
some breeds cannot be transfered at all because of the native breed and it can be sent back by qurantine due to its breed

I suggest that u shouldnt get the dog just make do with wat is in your local pet stores

P.S It cost around $700-$1000 to get a flight for a dog depending on the size.
