You could try this: heat white vinegar in an uncovered pot on the stove (don't boil). Remove after 30 minutes. The light vinegar smell dissipates quickly, taking odors with it.

Fish is generally best served just at the point of being done... mind you salmon can be served completely raw (a la sushi) so you can serve it pretty rare! If pan frying, about 3 minutes per side should be fine for most fish cuts. The fish will lose its transparency and become whiter and firmer. (or pinker in the case of salmon) To keep the smell to a minimum make sure your fish is super fresh.

Boil some water with a cut up fresh lemon and a few cinnamon sticks in it. It will do the trick.
Make a apple pie, good to eat and a heavenly smell.

it does not take the smells away 100% but there is a plug in machine called perfect air (you should be able to find it on ebay) and this takes away most odours in your house, i have had used one for ages and recommend them

Try leaving a box of bicarb open, it will absorb the odour (works in a fridge, anyway)

Nothing but time and good venting works. Stop killing yourself over it or cook something else like garlic fries.
