I just got married, and I will join the navy. I want to know how many free time I will have to spend with my wife, after boot camp and during my 4 years service. thanks

If what I just read in your other question about BAH and your wife living separated from you is true then the answer is not a lot. You earn roughly 4 weeks of leave every year. That's the amount of time you're going to have available to get out to see her.

Normally once you're assigned to a boat or a ship you can't take all of that time at once but in week or two week windows. So on top of paying for two households you're going to add the expense of plane flights. It's really not going to be easy to make ends meet at all.

However if she is living in with you a lot depends on how quickly you get qualified to do your job and the schedule of the command. If you stay up to date on your qual cards you're better off as you won't be as likely to be kept extra hours to work on them. If your command has a good duty rotation you'll have to stay 24 hours every third or fourth day but you'll be home the nights in between. It's really a lot easier to maintain a relationship if you're living together.

The other command schedule to look at is sea time. Most often you'll be on board for that although there are a few reasons to leave people behind. During that time you will of course be gone 24/7.

While in port, you will get to see her. It may not be for a lot of time as duty requirements may mean 12 hour schedules, watch duty and weird shifts/days on and off. If you are at sea, then needless to say you won't see her til the tour is done and you are back home...six months or so. If you deploy, you will be gone for about a year, with one mid-tour leave of about two weeks. The military is pretty strectched right now and there are very few jobs that run typical office hours, M-F with weekends off.

enitirely too many variables. What A school will you get> will it be accompanied or not? will you get shore duty or sea duty? if you get sea duty, what kind of platform and where is it in the deployment schedule? if shore duty, is it DIRSUP or a traditionally high OPTEMPO billet such as SeaBee?

chances are VERY high that you will get sea duty after A school. that means you could be underway a lot, a little, or somewhere in between. expect a six month deployment every 12-18 months, with numerous smaller underway periods in between, ranging from 2-3 days to 2-3 months.

Are you on a sub or a carrier? See my question about Navy Hours asked yesterday.

If you are at a base, you will see her every day and on your days you are not scheduled to work. If you are out on a ship then you will see her when you get back.
