I'll do my best, here...sorry if I sound like I'm taking this too seriously, with some of these.

1. Good question. Maybe that's why it's so hard to get ahead. Ultimately, only debt exists.

2. Probably dogs. If they seem to like it more, we could logically conclude that it tastes better.

3. The same as the speed of light. Darkness = absence of light, so it would be the speed at which light leaves.

4. I dunno. Maybe it costs too much to make (and with everyone being in debt, no less!). Or maybe it would be too heavy to get off the ground.

5. Ironically, the person who did stole it from somebody else. (No, not seriously. I hope that's obvious.)

6. Yep. The tears would simply be absorbed into the water around you.

7. That being the case, most of the people I work with DO work like dogs.

8. Sounds like a good setup for a dumb blonde joke...

9. Do you ever crave air? (And to the person who answered, above me, I don't believe that qualifies as thirst.)

10. Figuratively, yes. Literally, no.

11. I don't think they sleep perched on the branches. ...do they?

12. The color. I'm pretty sure things were orange before oranges came about. As for which one was given a name first...that, I can't be sure of.

1. World bank
2. Dog Food Tasters
3. Darkness is just absence of light, it doesn;t travel
4. It's very heavy, the plane won;t even take off
5. No One
6. Yep (Cos you can cry in the rain)
7. Just an idiom
8. If you look at the numeric key pad group on you keyboard, you will see that they too are set up like a calculator. Long before electronic calculators, that was the convention on adding machines, as the lower numbers were used the most. That convention, same as the "qwerty" keyboard format carried over to both calculators and computers. Then came along (or I should say; "when") the touch tone pad, All 16
keys, with the 1 in the top left corner, 5 (with the little dot or bump in the middle) in the middle and A at the top right corner. Naturally, the standard 12 key pad is just missing the 4 Alpha keys. It was chosen to put the 1 in the top left corner as it was this country's country code and was used to dial all out of area long distance calls. the dot or bump on the 5 button was to find the center of the pad in the dark and many phones are "hot keyed" on the 5 button to dial 911.

9. They sure do! Freshwater fish receive water by it going into their skin and into the system, but they do get some water through their mouth when they eat or open it. Saltwater fish do it the same way, but do something a little different though, because sea water contains much more salt, they have special cells called ionocytes in the gills which pumps out the salt in the body, so they don't get dehydrated.
10. No
11. The same way you don't fall out of bed
12 Fruit

Any more doubts?

4. Probably flight would never take off
5. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright#History
6. Undoubtedly you cannot; but you can by some means!!!
7. You got wrong perception of the question :-)
8. http://www.vcalc.net/Keyboard.htm - some answers are available here
9. Yes they might, you have to have a camera within fish's stomach and oesophagus to find out when it swallows water :)
10. Every point in a round room is a corner!!! It is logical think about it. A circle is made up of infinite corner :) :)
11. Do you fall everyday from your bed(assuming your cot is above floor); similarly watching tonight will not make the birds fall. They do fall sometimes and thats why sometimes you see some birds flying in unusual times duirng night. It is only you have to witness it
12. If your question is fruit first or the colour orange, then the answer is orange, because SUN is oldest in our universe and because of dispersion of sunlight, we got to see orange colour and coincidentally Orange happens to get the name or because they didnt what to name the colour, and the colour looked very much like Orange fruite they named Orange probably.
If your quesiton is orange first or seed first - then no answer!

Why do they call them "apartments" if they are all close together? Why do we buy water balloons if we could just fill normal balloons up with water? Why is the time when the traffic is slowest called rush-hour? If Barbie is so popular, why do you need to buy her friends? Is it bad or good if your vacuum cleaner sucks? How does skating on thin ice get you into hot water? Why are a wise-man and a wise-guy opposites? If its zero degrees tonight, and tomorrow its meant to be twice as cold, how cold will it be? Why is abbreviated such a long word? What cruel man decided to put the letter "S" in "Stutter"? Would a fly with no wings still be called a fly? Are shell-less turtles homeless or naked? Can vegetarians eat animal crackers.
