Is there anyone else out there sick and tired of the never-ending Iraq War and wish it would go away? What goes on in Iraq does not affect me at all and I'm sick about hearing the problems the US Soliders are going through,(they don't pay my Bills, the Hell with them).

Most americans are not in the Military and have no desire to ever join. The newsmedia should report about other things and they should ignore what happens in little tiny Iraq,it's on the other side of the world, what happens there dosen't affect me and I don't care about the american soliders, they don't protect me.

I live in a High Crime Area (Oakland,Ca.)those Soliders should be patrolling my streets instead of a faraway place like Iraq.

Most Americans support the war in Iraq and want to send even more troops over there. In fact, as I understand it, we're going to start sending our very own local law enforcement people over there since by fighting them over there, we're much safer here. (OK, that was sarcasm).
Most Americans think the war is a waste. But there is a lot more money generated by war then by merely protecting citizens on the home front. Guess you're on your own.

Vietnam comes to mind when I read this...Support the troops, it isn't their fault we are in Iraq. The biggest problem with Vietnam was the media, they were too heavily involved and showed/told way too much. But on the opposite end, the Korean War, is what you are looking for. A forgotten war, one where nobody but the people who are involved and their families care about. The media should change subjects, they are talking way too much about Iraq and I agree it is annoying, but we shouldn't forget the troops and should at least acknowledge their existance, if you want to be angry at someone be angry at our elected officials and the media not the troops.

It did affect you. If I remember right, Iraq had decided not to sell oil in US dollars. After that, we discovered they had weapons of mass destruction that could hurt us so we attacked. I am so glad that those weapons on mass destruction are now gone and as a byproduct we have a deal where they will sell oil in US dollars.

Luckily it all worked out in the end and the people of Iraq thanked us and welcomed us with open arms.

OMG, I think I am drowning in the sarcasm...

Note to the poster:
Dude you complain about your neighborhood? Why not get up off you A** and go do something about it. I am guessing you never served in the military. You probably have no ambition whatsoever except to sit behind a computer eating cheetos and getting obese.

If your not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Your facts are wrong.
Your ideas are flawed.
You seem to be unconcerned with helping yourself, and jealous of people that make a difference in the world.
If your streets need protecting, ask the police how to join them. If you qualify, you protect your own street, pay your own bills, and can gripe about your own job!

Since US soldiers are prohibited from patrolling the streets of the US under Posse Comitatitis then you can hardly blame them for the crime in your streets.

And yes the soldiers do protect American citizens even unhinged lunatics like you.

little tiny Iraq??? How ignorant are you?? Its people like you who really piss me off, we are over here trying to help teach the ones who support us to protect their own country, we are doing a lot of good over here and if we werent over here than who knows how long it would be before the terrorist hit us again. Also I really get irritated taht people can only think of Iraq, when we are not just there, we are also in Afghanistan, Iran, Kuwait, Manas, etc. Iraq is not the only place where we are fighting. you need to get your facts straight before you think that what we are doing over here doesnt effect you.

I think you should get an education, join the police force and fix your own community. I'm sorry the war is boring you. Perhaps when you begin focusing on what you can do to make your own neighborhood safer you will forget all about it.

wonderful...and im sure al qaeda wants them to leave too so that they can give the soldiers a REASON TO PATROL YOUR STREETS. man its amazing the people that bought into this liberal pap about unilateral surrender. this war will go away as soon as we are able to muzzle nancy pelosi and have people who understand and appreciate the threat of al qaeda finish the job.

Maybe you should grow up. Wishing the war would "just go away" won't change anything... You must be a Democrat. Idiot.
