if you know God IS a bright light, you souldn't ask...
in fact, nobody knows how God Father looks like...so the bright light is only a way of His presence or manifestation...
we all need to know, there's He is, any that be His name...

There is no exact form to God. We the humans have given him a shape who looks like us. That is to say God looks in the shape we give to him. As you stated "God is a bright light" must be a good answer. A bright light is a form of cosmic energy.
