I like video games and such other comforts, but if everything was gone, I could still be content with just the soil under my feet, could you?

Soil under my feet. At 1st we as human beings will not be content with just soil under our feet. We will always be looking for something else. This is the reason why we search for something in video games, movies, work, books or any other things. We are searching for something that we can't seem to find. The more we know about the world, the more we seem to know that we don't know. How can we be content on anything? When in everything that we do, we only find another craving for another. In the end we find the answer when we only have soil under our feet. The thing that we searched for was ourselves and we only find it when we are now alone with only soil in our feet.

I have lived without a television and such, but as long there are trees and animals, I could live like that.

Some Food would be nice. A bag of Herb would be nice. SHelter would be nice. Content, i suppose after i made a Shelter killed some Food and Grew some Herb.

I try to live this philosophy but I usually get caught up in my own desires, material or otherwise. When I start getting frustrated, angry, sad, etc... I know to stop and relax. I'm getting better at it the more I practice doing it.
I'm not starving, I have a home and a family that loves me and whom I love... what more do I need to be happy?

i don't have a tv and i ride a bike mostly. so i guess i'd be good...as long as it isn't some type of environmental holocaust or something...
