i know that we all love our father and mother as parents but wut u think of them as a person? do u admire them ? do u wish to become like them in future? or do u like me hate them as a person yet u love them as parents.............think about it

I think my parents are pathetic people and have very little respect for them as as parents and people. It sucks knowing they were crappy parents and crappy people but you can't allow that to bring you down as well or else you will end up in the same predicament yourself. Take control of your own life and be responsible for yourself.

Hate is a very strong word to use. I think you may not like their nagging and even perhaps to a certain extent their sturbbourness. However as parent, they ONLY have one thing in their mind. That is to share and impart what ever knowledge and experiences they thought would be best for you. Of course, if it comes to a stage when they force you to decide against your wishes, you may "hate" them. However remember, what they do is to your best interest still, however limited or ancient information that tehy may have.
So I would suggest, at least don't hate them. Think of the fact that they have raised you up, and you did turn up well to be useful to the society. Also the character and personality that you have and the genes that you have comes from your parent too.
So I would say, if you really want to know where you would be heading, take 20% +- tolerance, your personaility and character is the same with your parent. When it comes to your turn of parenthood, you will appreciate them even better..

Well, I do hate my parents on how they treated me as their daughter but I still love them because even though, how bad or cruel they are; they are still my parents and I owe them a lot for giving me a better life, better education and a better future.......that's why I am still happy and contented that they are my parents because I know, they do that for me because they want to become a better and a loving daughter.......

Sometimes when they're not annying me, telling me to do housework
My dad is the one that tries to provide us with the things I want and need
My mum is the one that keeps the family together

I only hope to be half the woman my mother was (she ws great), and absolutely none of the things my dad was (he was an alcoholic that treated my mother horrible).

it really depends on how they raised you.... and what to do with your life....
we are not perfect persons.... and so as our parents... but more are trying to be good parents...
you hold your life..... you can mold it according to what you want it to be.... and avoiding the mistakes your parents made....
soon you will be a parent, you will also be like them.... what will you do when that day comes..... learn from them or be just like them.....
