I'm a junior in highschool and I moved here in Arizona with my family 3 years ago and I've finally settled in and things are going great. But I just found out that my dad has an interview or 2 and his company might move him to Dallas, Texas ofcourse with us (it's not definite yet..but he sounds pretty sure we might move) i want to be happy for my dad, but it's so hard just thinking about starting all over again, especially since i only have 2 more years left of highschool..what should i do?

You need to make the best out of a not so great situation. Just be yourself and have fun. People WILL like you for you, whether or not you think so. New people usually don't have too hard of a time making new friends, there is always someone who wants to be your friend, even if its just another new girl. Besides if things don't work out, its like you said you only have two year left and your senior year you barely have to go to school anyway. Then you go to college where everybody makes new friends. Being a teen is rough, but trust me you'll survive. If you need help you can always talk to me.

I'm from Dallas Texas as well. Its an amazing place with plenty for anyone and everyone. If he does have to move here I'm sure it won't take you long to start liking the place. If you still feel bummed about being here after a while at least soon enough you will be out of high school and you can make decisions about where and when to move after that all on your own.

i know what you mean. I've lived here in AZ for 32yrs. I would have a tough time leaving. I did leave here twice to live in Korea and enjoyed it. I was also happy to return.
I get the feeling you are well adapted and will fit in quickly. You do have a nice choice of colors. But I really dont see how to avoid the move other than let your dad know how you feel so he can weigh all factors.

Dallas is great. Texas is great.
There are lots of opportunities for your dad here.
There are great colleges here... and being a resident of the state gets better tuition rates.
There are lots of opportunities for you to do all sorts of things here.
You can still go visit with your friends in AZ every so often, and there is always phone, IM and e-mail.
