You are not quite right,because not only in middle east countries but in all muslim countries,muslim people do not want to see entertainment which is against with islamic teaching.If the entertainment shows uncovered body of women,gives alcoholic drinking,gives. facility for gambling or adultery so muslims are prohibited to attend that kind of entertainment.In islamic teaching those are bad doings..We will have sin if we approach it.We are anti entertainment where there are many bad doings which are prohibited by Allah the only one God as stated in the Qur'an and Hadith of Muhammad pbuh.

that's rather a generalisation, only the fundamentalists are really anti-entertainment. the ordinary people there like entertainment the same as the rest of us, perhaps you ought to tune into some world music radio channels and see that there is a lot of arabic music about, you may not like it but they do.
