Yes it does...
I don't get distracted with anything other then the prayer. I prefer going into the Masjid thinking about nothing other then what I'm doing (praying).

Talking business has nothing to do with help in spirituality. Not talking in Masjid is for respect of Masjid and to not disturb those who are praying God in Masjid.

of course you prohibited talk business to other while you are praying. Praying is your communication with Al-Qudus.
