If a can of beer was opened and left for a few days open will there still be the same alcohol percentage?

You ask a hard question.

Basically, if you leave water out for a few days, there will be less. It was picked up into the air by evaporation.

Ethanol can do the same thing, and in fact boils at a lower temperature than water.

So, if an ethanol and water mixture (beer) is left out (by an irresponsible person, of course), a certain amount of water will leave the mixture.

However, if just water left then the alcohol content would INCREASE! But, the ethanol will also leave. So, the question is: Does ethanol and water evaporate at the same rate? Since the boiling point is lower for ethanol, I would expect it to evaporate quicker, thus making your beer lower in alcohol.

Honestly, though, a beer left out for a few days is a sink beer.

No. sometimes i pass out and wake up six hours later and finish whatever opened cans i have left and there is a noticable difference in taste and strengh. It also starts to taste like bile after a while.

I guess it has something to do with being exposed to air or something.

Not same anymore, wine or alcohol spirits lessen or perhaps gone in such time.

not the same, because alcohol evaporates, and does so faster than water.
