I think, as a society, we hear the hype that men are always perverted if they stare at a woman they find attractive.
Now I want to ask this the other way around.... can women be perverted as well when 'checking' out a man physically? Therefore, they usually get away with it because it's ok for a woman to look without coming across as a pervert?

You kidding? Best thing about being a woman is that I can check out an attractive man all day long and no one is the wiser. People think women are practically asexual.
Obviously if you're rude and gratuitous about it, it's not ok, but I don't think there's anything wrong with admiring the beauty of others, whether you're male or female.

You have the wrong idea of what a pervert is. A pervert is not just someone that checks out attractive women. He or she is a person that has sick ideas about sex, such as having sex with children, etc... Sex ideas that are out of the "normal" range, or oogling at another woman or man.

It depends on WHERE guys are staring at. Most of girls don't check it out on men's bodies but faces first. That's way, girls are not looking at men as obvious sexual objects.
Some guys don't even remember girl's face or clothes but the size of boobs or butt....therefore they are said to be perverted as if they have got only one thing in their minds!!

And i dont see why some women call men perverts just cuz they find someone simaliar to their age attractive ...thats ..just screwed.

Ofcourse we 'check out' men!!! But we do it discreetly.
I and my friends always check out the 'bulge' of attractive guys and give points to them or gues how 'big' they must be. The difference is that we dont do it in a crude or crass manner.
On a dare with a friend, I actually grabbed the package of a dude on the bus and looked sufficiently embarassed- he thought it was an accident!!!! HAHA
Its a woman's world, guys!!!
