I love to make FLAN AND anything that has to do w/mexican food or ameican and some french desserts ..
anyone tried yet? guava--is a fruit..do you know where to get some..I have cravings for something sweet and fruity..lol.

I've been cooking for close to 50 years. I love to cook. What I've found is my favorite recipes will change over time. I used to make a BBQ Stuffed Meatball recipe that my husband loved. Now I think about it and go "oh! yuk! too much barbeque sauce!!"
My all time favorite comfort food was my Mother's chicken with homemade noodles, served over mashed potatoes.( I think only Kansans eat their noodles over mashed potatoes..) I have her recipe and can make the noodles, but somehow mine don't taste as good as hers did.
I still make the Big Bowl Chocolate cake recipe that Mom made when we were kids. It's a scratch cake that is so dark and moist, it doesn't even need frosting. My brother never let it cool enough for us to frost. He'd cut a piece as soon as he could handle it.
Today my favorite foods reflect years of living in the Southwest -- I love to cook and eat enchiladas, tortilla soup, tamale pie and chili. I really want the recipe for El Chico's picante sauce. It's my favorite and there aren't any El Chico's where I now live.

I like to have a nice grilled steak with spinach or asparagus for a vegetable, a baked potato smothered with butter, a green salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, and black olives with a light dessert, like jello. I like Italian food and anything that has to do with beef, all vegetables, cheesecake, and puddings or custards --including flan, of course.

I love to cook, but I haven't tried any new recipes. Flan is delicious, in my opinion. My favorite dish as of now is chicken tortellini with tomato sauce.

love cooking, like to cook anything, my favorite dish i think would have to be Tuns steaks with hot friary tomato salsa.
