Yes. Jesus was a Witness of Jehovah. Yes, he was a Jehovah's Witness. All Biblical Jews were. Yahweh himself told the nation of Israel that they were his witnesses. And as one poster already mentioned, the Bible calls Jesus the faithful and true witness.
So many people fail to realize that Jesus was on earth for much more than simply "dying so we could have salvation." It's not [just] "about us", as the saying goes. There are actually far more important issues than just saving humans. Most, however, gloss over those issues in the Bible in favor of "what God has done for them lately."

Sure he was. He said so Himself.
What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him that sent me,” he declared.—John 5:41; 7:16.
Shortly before his death, he told Pilate: “For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.” (John 18:37)
What was the Truth he Bore witness too?
More than any other Israelite, Jesus knew that he had to be a witness of Jehovah. Why? He was a member of the nation to which Jehovah by the prophet Isaiah had said: “You are my witnesses.” (Isa. 43:10)
End of story..Debate it all you Want Nina. Its Written In Stone.

A Jehovah's Witness is someone who is a Witness of Jehovah. So yes, he was a Witness of Jehovah, and thats why he is called the Faithful and True Witness.

Jesus Christ himself was Jewish.
My mom always says 'Jehovah's Witnesses have always been, just not under that name.' She has no clue that they are like many of the other Adventists sects that broke out in the 1800's. JW;s are a cult that's foundations go as far down to The Freemasons. Some radical named Charles Russell created doctrines he believed to be true which were changed constitantly as the new leaders of the JW"s (Watchtower Society) grew. IT is nothing more than a everchanging cult and nothing more.

Jesus was not Jehovah Witness or any other form of denomination. He simply was God in earthly form. He has not chosen a race, or a denomination to take part in. He came for all people, so that we might have eternity with him!

He was witnessing for his father, so technically yes.
But today's Jehovah's Witnesses I find very hypocritical and very prejudice if you're not white.
I do, and I know many people, esp. Black people that believe the Bible but to attend the kingdom halls is different because they they experience a great deal of racism where it's no different from the "rest of the world" that whites are constantly in denial about it. Even writing to the headquarters is futile because they never take any much needed action regarding racism because they are mostly white there and impose the same-type prejudice mentality also.
I've been awaiting an answer for many months and still today, nothing. Not surprising as when I view the magazine articles and publications they show the BIBLE characters are being all white, even Jesus; even Job??? Job was the "greatest Oriental" back in his time, but if you see it in their publications they have him graphic and depicted as whiter than the driven snow and even with blue eyes.
Even Adam and Eve have gotten much whiter over the years even with blue eyes now.
I used to believe in the Witnesses so much, but just seeing how they hypocritically conduct themselves and the racism that's abound in most congregations, at least here in America, I don't see how they think they will not be included in that 90% of wicked humans which will be destroyed at Armageddon.
Obviously, my faith in God and his word the Bible has not changed, but that organization has some serious flaws, but of course, they will never admit it.
Again, to answer your question, Jesus came here to teach, and to preach as God's witness, so technically he is. Thanks.

I'm not JW but allow me to share. Jesus Himself build His own church, which He is the head and the church His body (Col 1:18). Those whom God has called to have fellowship with union with Christ "were called in one body" (Col 3:15 NKJV), called in His name Church of Christ.

Jesus was, but many today that proclaim to be witnesses are not. They are bigots and hypocrites; many, many are.
