Burning tounge!?

I right now have had tonsillitis for almost a week and its almost gone by now, and ive been on antibiodics for almost a week as well, and been sucking on cough drops for a week as well, and just the other day my tounge got some small bumps on it and it burns when i eat somthing! it hearts to eat! and i got a soar on my tounge as well.........idk what the cause of this is.........maybe its because ive been using cough drops non stop for too long idk...........any info would help! thnx!

See your doctor to be on the safe side. It could be related to te frequent use of cough drops but it also could be unrelated so it is best to find out for sure.
