I was in an accident this Spring where I was rear ended. There was $1500 damage to my car and I went to physio for 2 months but I still have problems with my back which I didn't have before the accident? They want to settle for $500 and then went up to $1000 on top of my car and doctor bills. What should I be looking for?

I wouldn't take that as a settlement. This isn't a fair amount going by the infomration you provided. Please don't hesitate to get the proper medical treatment you need and deserve. I don't think a person can guess or figure out a fair amount in which you are owed. It would be best to seek the help of an attorney.

Whenever you accept the settlement (whatever amount it is) you no longer can claim for more. If you are indeed, still suffering from the accident, do not sign until you know how much more you will be paying for medical expenses.

depends if this was chiro or physical therapy?

if chiro; take it; if physical therapy, may get couple dollars more, but not much;

$1500 for car damage is not a lot; you have soft tisue injury and in most cases does not have a lot of value;

good luck

Um... that? Please dont tell me you expect more then 1k over medical expenses for an accident with only that much damage.

How greedy (not to mention fragile- two months of therapy for that minor accident!?!) are you?
