Basic Training: initial training for all enlisted personnel( Navy and Marines call it Boot Camp). Follwed by AIT or A school(depending on Branch) where they are trained in the specifics of their job.
OCS: Basic Training for Officers, with additional classroom time on top of the same amount(if not more) physical requirements that enlisted go through. No time for tea at OCS(OTS for Air Force)
OBC: the schooling for Officers in their particular field after Commissioning. Think AIT/A school for Officers.

Basic training is what enlisted recruits go through to start a military career. OCS and OBC are for officers, OCS is Officer Candidate School, it is basic training for officers OBC is Officer Basic Course, every officer must go through an OBC regardless of how they became an officer and is typically done after OCS, for example, an Infantry officer would go to IOBC, a commo officer would go to Signal OBC, a Chemical Officer would go to COBC.

THank you for your interest in serving. Please be aware that the Army does not have "boot camp", rather they have basic combat training, BCT. (Marines get insulted if you call Army training boot camp). Here are some thoughts on your questions. 1. The Army AMEDD runs their own program. Officers who go through OBLC do not have to go to basic training. It is in effect "death by powerpoint". 2. Health Care Administrator (70A) is a reserve only position. That means one weekend a month, two weeks over the summer, and random trips out to the sandbox. Other positions, within AMEDD will typically require a Masters degree or higher. 3. If you seek a position, not covered by AMEDD you will attend Basic Combat Training. Positions in OBC are rewarded by merit. It is not as scary as it sounds, and I'm sure you can do it. If you go this course, under no circumstances should you let it slp you are a officer canadate (09S). Please be aware that the movies rarely get anything right. 4. To begin your career as a Health Care Administrator, consider talking to your states, AMEDD recruiter today.

OBC - Officers Basic Course; I suppose this can be compared to Advanced Individual Training with advanced leadership training integrated into the program. Supposedly teaches new 2nd Lieutenants whatever they need to know to operate a platoon leader in their given career field. IOBC is taught at Fort Benning, Armor OBC at Fort Knox, Artillery OBC at Fort Sill and Aviation OBC at Fort Rucker....
OCS - Officer Candidates School; Basic leadership training for enlisted personnel wishing to transition to 2nd Lieutenant, this is a branch immaterial program so everybody regardless of their branch goes to the OCS program at the U.S. Army Infantry School at Fort Benning, GA. The candidates are taught all the basic skills required of all 2nd Lieutenants so you might consider it to be Basic Training for Officers. The majority of the candidates are prior service Non-Commissioned Officers in the pay grade of E6 (-/+) however I now understand that this program is open to select entry level soldiers with college degrees.
BCT - Basic Combat Training is entry level training that all new soldiers are required to attend, it is branch immaterial and teaches the trainees the basic skills required of all soldiers. This training results in assigning a temporary Military Occupiational Series (MOS) of 09B00 which is a Basic Rifleman. Normally most soldiers are assigned Basic Combat Training (BCT) at the same location as they will receive their AIT as part of One Station Unit Training (OSUT) so the guys you go to basic training with are the same guys you go to AIT with....

Basic training- You enlist get yelled at and learn to be a soldier. Any one can go 17-40? years of age. at the end you are a Private in the Army you are then sent to Advanced Individual Training (AIT) to learn your job and then to a unit
Officer Candidate School- Basic training is required as well as at least 2 years of college and several letters of recommendation as well as the approval of a board. It is like Basic training 2 (from what I am told) you are put under stress and evaluated on how you react. at the end you are a Officer in the army (one of the 4 ways)
Officer Basic Course- You are already an officer, at this course you take mainly classroom instruction on your branch (MP, Infantry, armor, etc) at the end you are sent to a unit to lead Soldiers (much like AIT for enlisted)
