How would you feel to find out that the religion you believed all your life was a cult?

Thanks to education and a good public school system, in every civilized modern countries religious superstitions and delusions are quietly fading away. The awareness that religion and cult are the same thing comes also from education.

Why throw the baby out with the bathwater? I left the Utah LDS church because in many ways it was a cult, yet and still a staunch believer in Christianity.

Just because many fail to live up to the standard of Christ's teachings does not mean Christ did not exist or that His teachings are false... only the men who profess Him are false.

i can in basic terms answer one from journey: Jehovah's Witnesses. I have experience some of what you are talking about and do know that one has to pray daily to understand the Word for herself because that devils job is to steal, kill, and destory. The devil is broke, busted, and disgusted. The devil wants to take away any chances you have at what he lost.

Their has to be a clear channel between you and God because the devil has tricks called your pass which he will use to get to people on either sides... so be strong and know that Jesus is the only way...
