We never put the remains of the Christmas turkey in the 'frig before the 27th. and the only problem we have ever had is the basic bellyache caused by stealing too much from the pantry at bedtime!
I don't think chicken is any different
And if we do refrig' cooked meat we bring it back to room temperature before I carve it.

Incubation periods are different for each cause of food poisoning. Some types produce symptoms and illness within 30 minutes to a few hours. Most cases of food poisoning take between 12-48 hours to develop and symptoms come on suddenly.
Other types take between a few days and up to a week before symptoms start to appear. If the food poisoning is due to an infection with Campylobacter, it may take a week or longer to develop symptoms

i doubt she will be ill, if it was kept in a air conditioned area and had already been well cooked. If she were to be ill, she would probably feel nauseous about 1 hour to 4 hours after eating. If its been longer than 5/6 hours after eating and she feels completely fine, then its okay. However, i wouldnt recommend leaving out chicken and then eating it hours after, again. I wouldnt do that with any food, such as meat, eggs or fish, and especially with chicken- you have to be careful with that kind of food.

Don't panic and keep an eye on her. There is a good chance she can catch something but again she might not. Make sure she's drinking plenty of fluids and if she starts being sick get her to a doctor. If she does get sick its likely to be a very mild case and just make her ill for a couple of days.

Very likely she won't be sick. My brothers and their friends would eat almost anything that didn't have mold or bad smell and they never got sick provided it was fully cooked in the first place (which kills salmonella and e.coli).
In many European countries, they don't refrigerate cooked stuff. They aren't dying like flies either.

Maybe you will and maybe you won't. Do you like playing Russian Roulette? When in doubt throw it out. It's not worth getting sick over.

If she was going to be sick this would happen with in 10 to 30 minutes from eating. If your not sure you should alway have Pro Flora capsuals around this is good bacteria that fights the bad.

I have eaten things that have been left out like that lots of times and never gotten sick. She should be all right. That's the sort of thing that helps build the immune system.

Poultry contains salmonella and maybe even Campylobacter when left out. Should not be left out like that. Keep her hydrated and this too shall pass.

don't worry in advance, all the organisms are different so she may not have any trouble , but if you begin to think she will and if you have mentioned to her, there is more probability of an infection.. Forget it and if that happens, there s not too much trouble.
