It depends how long you've been a user and heavy your addiction is. I'm no CSW, but I do have experience in this field. Once you quit, you'll probably be depressed and unmotivated for awhile, but it's only temporary (usually), if not seek help, which I recommend highly anyway, i.e. an outpatient drug treatment program or inpatient if you're seriously addicted, only you and a professional can make that determination. As far as physical effects, if you've been using awhile and quit it won't take long for people who know you to notice it and I mean that in a positive way. Getting off the sh** was the best thing I've ever done for myself, all around. You might gain some weight, but that's because you're eating regularly. The single best resource I can steer you towards for further questions would be Narcotics Anonymous. Go to a couple of meetings, give it a try. If you don't like the first couple you go to, go to a couple more. You'll find one you do like. When they welcome the newcomers, speak up. You'll be surprised how many recovering addicts will be willing to help you out with some advice and direction. Good Luck!!

You will feel like crap at first & will be willing to do anything in order to get another fix. You'll look like crap for a while, but trust me- it's better that you stop. Too many people think that cocaine is a glamorous when it really isn't.
I've seen strung out addicts come through my workplace all the time, both the people who are just getting into it & the people who have been on it for years. The end is always the same: if they don't quit they eventually lose all self respect & friends, & eventually their looks & life. Maybe you'll gain some weight if you quit, but you'll still have your life.
You can get all sorts of health problems from doing cocaine, even injuring your unborn child if you were to become pregnant. People often develop psychological problems due to cocaine usage, as the drug affects your brain. Get help now while you still can.

Hopefully, this isn't just a joke. Drug abuse is nothing to joke about.
With that being said, yes, you will have withdrawals. Mine didn't last for long and weren't that bad. I don't know about stretch marks, because I already had some from having my daughter. And yes, you will more than likely gain weight. I know that when I used cocaine, I was about 100 pounds because I never ate. Never had an appetite and would go days without eating. So, obviously, when I quit and regained my appetite, I gained weight (but I was VERY underweight and needed it). Any thing that happens when you stop are only temporary, and they are so worth it. I felt bad for about a week and then I felt better than I had in years. I just felt...healthier and alive. It is definitley worth it. I struggled with drug usage for years and haven't touched drugs or alcohol in almost 3 years, and have never looked back. If you need to talk, please feel free to IM or email me. Good luck.

Sounds like you're making excuses for not quitting. A healthy person would not even THINK about asking questions such as these. Just judging by this question, you can tell you have a compulsive personality that will not allow you to quit by yourself. Please seek help from a medical professional.
One more thing, your brain will never "regenerate the cells you lost." That is not ever going to happen. Once you lose brain cells, they are gone forever. Your liver is your only organ that can regenerate itself. Cocaine has zero effects on your liver. In fact, if you follow the link below you will see the only documented findings of brain regeneration. It was only after severe trauma to head, and even after the cells regenerated, they could not communicate.

Withdrawals mostly.
Other stuff depends on your habits.
You will have a better appetite, but if you are careful with it you won't gain weight.
Where'd you get that you get stretch marks? You mean from getting fat? You won't if you control urself and not pig out when you start eating again. Eat right, exersize, and become healthy and you won't get any.
Trust me ur a lot better off not doing coke.

it really depends on how long yoou have been doing it. if its just been like, a day or 2, then mabey some withdrawls, possibly some depression. but its its been like, a ****** hardcore 10 day binge, then definitly withdrawls/depression. although more long term coome from long term usage. if you've been using it everyday for like, months, then weight gain and stuff like that might happen. i've never heard of stretch marks from stopping coke use. mabey if you put on 30 lbs. in a week then ya. but its not like they just appear. Im actually just talking out of my butt now, so for a more informative reourse, try erowid.

First off, the long the long term result should be overall happiness. I don't know what else, but you have a fresh start to look forward to.
