I had a dream that an enormous,muscly boa-like snake was slithering through my house?

I was a bit frightend,surprised, watching it. My husband picked it up by the throat and started strangling it. the snake was crying out loudly. I could not stand the sound...I wanted it to be over. I looked and he was still strangling this huge snake I was discusted and could actually feel my heart aching. Interpretations?

You husband is your hero. Something he wants to rescue you from. The snake was crying out loudly because he (your husband) wants to rescue you from something that you don't think you need him to rescue you from. Are you doing something that your husband doesn't agree with?

The snake represents deception or deceit or lies. But the type of snake represents how the lie or deceit works. For example, a boa constricts, cuts off air, crushes, and then swallow holds. Some lies work in the same way, but your husband recognized what was going on. The reason your heart ached while the snake was being strangled was because through some action your husband took to deal with the issue it seemed painful and there was some sympathy. But he did what was right and neccessary, to put the deception to death.

From my experience with a dream with a large snake, it seems there was something in my life that was life threatning. In your case I would think you husband knew what it was and was trying to keep death from entering either of your lives.

A good opportunity is knocking on your door (career opportunity, business deal, etc.) but you don't seem to see it as such. Consider your domestic situation, analyze the opportunties coming you way. Your husband might be doing something that will negate this good opportunity.
