Myself if I had to pick a song to reflect my family it would be born under a bad sign. Most of it had been random unless god is making people into drug addicts or alcoholics now.
My grandfather on dads side got hooked on heroin when he went to Korea to fight in the war. He came back and for my dads 16th birthday took him out for heroin and prostitutes. That entire family is all addicts or worse, except my grandmother who at 90 still practises medicine, lectures (occasionally now) and has spent many years with doctors without borders.
On moms side gramps died young, my mom was 9 I think. He died sitting in the living room chair, peacefully , where he napped everyday after work. My mom went in jumped on his lap to wake him for dinner and he never moved. It messed my mom up badly I think. My grandmother had relatives watch my mom and uncle and went to our cottage to deal with her grief. When someone went to check on her she had literally drank herself insane (there is a term I can never remember for this). Till the day she died she thought I was her "Michael" ( my uncle). After that my mom became an addict, my uncle who filled in for my father,is also an addict although a fully functioning one.
Needless to say I have have had issues of my own which I am not going to go into here.
Sorry for rambling.
r u randy-I'd say better days ahead but as soon as I do god will just kick me again.

Lucky accidents of birth: born to a middle-class white family in the U.S. Good health overall. Non-abusive parents who cared that I got an education and gave me a good home.
Unlucky accident of birth: Genetic predisposition to chronic depression.
I have no idea whether it's random, divine, or something else. If the Biblical god blessed me in some ways, he cursed me in others. But that would be true if another deity was responsible, too, so I'm not just God-bashing here.
Maybe it IS just random. Maybe karma had a part to play and my past lives hold some of the answers.
Like I said, I just don't know.

There were no "accidents" that I'm aware of at my birth, but if you're asking how the conditions of where and when and to whom I was born have effected my life, I can supply a few answers to that.
I've been lucky enough to be given the opportunities of an education and I've been very lucky to have been raised by two people who have allowed me to use what I've learned without censorship.... I am now reached my later years and "yes" those conditions surrounding my birth have contributed greatly to who I have become.
Is it random...? Of course it is. Is it divine... LOL... That's preposterous! It is something else...? No. What else could it possibly be but pure chance? We don't get to select our time and place of birth, do we?

I have no idea. I just know that I seem to be very lucky at getting my name picked out of a hat when I want to get something, and not picked when I don't (like while on jury duty).
I have won quite a few mail-in and local prizes. But maybe I enter more than the average person, due to my "lucky" feeling.

My random eye surgery as an infant gave me the profound ability to move my right eye independently of my left eye. It also lets me check out the guy who is sitting next to me whilst talking to my girlfriend. ;-)

Luck has nothing to do with it. It takes work to look this hot.
