I had a baby 1 year ago (actually, on Oct. 1st) by c/s. Since then, every month has been getting worse and worse. And now, in the past 2 months it's almost worsening day by day. Today, several times, it made walking almost unbearable. Can endometriosis recur that quickly? I was told at like 14 or something that I had endometriosis. I haven't had any trouble with it though for several years (over 7). Could it be endometriosis just coming on so quickly or something else? Feel free to search my profile for recently asked questions for more specific details.

Also, I was under the care of a really bad doctor before. I never had surgery to remove it, I was just put on birth control. My mom and grandma both had to have hysterectomies (both in the past 8 years) for endometriosis. Any pain relieving suggestions? I am really in an incredible amount of pain.

Yes, it can come back that quickly. But what happens with a lot of women is that all of it was never thouroughly removed in the first place. For some women pregnancy and breastfeeding decrease the pain and symptoms associated with endo. While I do agree that it could be adhesions and even possibly something else-I would bet it's the endo. I would not agree with the idea that it was not severe if you were able to have 2 kids. My dr. called mine severe but my tubes were never blocked. Besides, the amount of pain you have does not correlate to the extint of the diesease. More than likely it's the endo. Your best bet would to go to see an endo specialist. If the dr that performed your last surgery burned off the endo and did not excise it-that could be the problem as well. Burning the endo does not really do much-it needs to be excised! I wish you luck!

Most likely, your endometriosis wasn't severe if you had two babies since then.
The pain could be caused by many things, including scar tissue, adhesions, and a foreign object.
See your doc and ask for an ultrasound of the uterus, etc.
