good priced teen community service expeditions?

i am very interested in traveling to another country and doing some sort of community service..anything from building houses to saving endangered animals, i am interested in anything. All of the websites i have looked at are much too expensive.. does anyone know any that have good prices?

I think most volunteer vacations are pretty pricy, because you are not only expected to cover the cost of your air fare and food, but administrative expenses for arraning the volunteer work.
