What gives you the impression that Mary was sinless. Until Jesus was crucified and died on the cross for the sins of the world there was no flesh on earth that was not under the penalty of sin. That is why of those who had brought the woman taken in act of adultery was not condemned because no one (except Jesus) could be declared to be without sin. Mary the mother of Jesus was virtuous, but not sinless. Therefore Jesus died for the sin of Adam and Eve which were imputed to her just like everyone else.

Who said she had none? Mary was a human being like all of us. No where in the Bible does it say that she was without sin, the only one without sin was/is Jesus. Hence, Jesus died for everybody.....that means Mary.
That's why I have a problem with the Catholic church praying to Mary...but that's a whole other issue.

Wow your smart....(sarcasm)....Mary was a virgin, last I checked virgin didn't mean sinless, if mary never knew sin she would have been as pure as jesus, and she herself would have been able to die on the cross.

Well, you know, certain procedures need to be followed, if only for appearances' sake. I'm sure in Mary's case it was a mere formality.

Mary was an imperfect human being just like you and me, being a descendent of Adam and Eve, she inherited "sin" just like you and me.
Jesus laid his life down for ALL imperfect humans......including his mother!
