will they make me complete the entire 30 days? What happens when I turn myself in? I was told to turn myself in on October 1st. Will I have to quit my job? Anyone who has been through this in Arizona please tell me what happens.

Most states only require you to serve a portion of your sentence and give you credit for "good time." Read the article below for more info on Arizona. In NY you would only serve 20 days, for example.

Typically every court that uses intermediate sanctions (which community service is) will force the offender to serve the full time if the former sentence is revoked. And unless you have 30 days worth of vacation time saved up, I'd say you'll probably have to quit your job, unless they can make an exception.

YOU WERE GIVEN A BREAK TO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE AND FAILED TO DO SO--
CONTEMPT OF COURT

YOU ARE NOW BEING ORDERED TO DO 30 DAYS IN JAIL. USUALLY YOU DO NOT GET CREDIT FOR JAIL TIME FOR SERVING A SENTENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE.

BE HAPPY YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PRISON.

AND THEY WONDER WHY POLICE GET FRUSTRATED AT THE SYSTEM?
