My daughter is almost 3. She is in mommy and me 2 days a week and she's doing well (we've been there for 5 months now.) The only thing that is giving us trouble is circle time. They do songs and story time. She cries, complains, and tries to get out of sitting with the other kids. I think she knows that if she complains, I will pick her up and move her because I don't want it to distract the other kids. She will be starting preschool in February and I want to try to solve this by then. Any ideas?

The way she chooses to react with you present is not going to be the same way she acts when your gone. Don't sweat the small stuff....

Quit moving her. Take control and quit letting her dictate to you. When I took my son to his playgroup he would try to get up and play and I made him sit and participate. He finally got the message that circle time meant that he had to sit.
