Good question. The use of technology would have to be the most predominant factor in a war against China, I believe their military is probably larger than the population of the US and UK combined (maybe only a slight exaggeration).

I believe they could. With the United States' heavily advanced non-nuclear missile arsenal and airforce along with the United Kingdom's advanced navy and royal airforce would stop China from easily invading. The U.S. and U.K. would have a hard time invading China but given enough time a strong military force would eventually get in.

Let's see. The Brits can come up with about 10,000 troops not counting the little prince of course. So they wouldn't be any help. But the Chinese would be met by 250,000,000 gun wielding Americans if they ever invaded. So there could be a chance that the Chinese would decide to settle for the United kingdom and go home.

China isn't going to invade their best trading customer, and the US invade the country that holds the bulk of their debt.
War between China and the US is about as likely as David Bowie being selected as US Secretary of State.
Not that David wouldn't be a good choice, but it's not likely.

first off that is not going to happen anywhere in our near future. but to answer your question, it's not that simple. if the UK and US declared war on china, they would enlist their newest, dear friend russia. Israel would join UK/US, as would much of western europe, japan and south korea. Iran, venezuela, middle eastern, and parts of modernized africa ie egypt would join china/russia. it would be chaos, so the answer is let's not find out. china and russia are currently friends of the countries. yes, there is tension at times, but nothing that hasn't been there for teh past decade. the media blows it out of proportions....

An imaginary question of course..
Although "Air superiority" can not be enough to invade China, US+UK may gain "Air superiority" on regional scale only.
An imaginary responce for sure..
